Renderings (2020)

responds to and reimagines the act of mindless doodling in a digital and anxiety filled year. Through click and drag interactions, the platform is an endless rendering tool to escape and multitask within shapes and silhouettes. The abstract and solid blocks are modified screen grabs from online meetings I’ve attended the past few months. The work takes influence from the importance of interactions within my practice - usually through teaching, participatory works, and community engagement - while exploring this involvement with a new digital relationship.
